Top 10 Online Music Sites – Update to December 2009
What a year for music, especially the online streaming and digital download sites. There have been large gains in users and listeners for some sites, and disastrous drops for others.
So while Apple has topped the charts in all sorts of ways plus buying Lala to sit alongside iTunes, much of the online universe has suffered setbacks:
- Project Playlist (playlist.com) loses over 30 million users
- imeem loses 9 million users
- MySpace loses 4 million users
